What is an PIN code?
PIN code stands for Postal Index Number code. Also known as Zip code or area postal code, Pin code is the post office numbering code system used by the postal service of India, India Post. Decoding of the PIN Structure:
The Postal Index Number or PIN consist of six long numerical digits and each of them indicates regions. The last final three digits indicate the individual post offices within the sorting districts.
